How an Engagement Runs
01
Free discovery call
Thirty minutes. You describe the work that eats your hours; I tell you honestly whether software can take it — and what I'd do first.
02
Fixed-price proposal
Clear deliverables, a real price, and a timeline. No hourly meter, no scope soup. If it's an audit, the scope is already defined.
03
Build in the open
Weekly check-ins with working software, not status decks. You see the pipeline run before you pay the final invoice.
04
Runs without you
Handoff with documentation — or a retainer where I keep it monitored, patched, and improving.
Common Questions
Why fixed prices instead of hourly?
Because you're buying an outcome, not my time. Hourly billing punishes efficiency — the faster I work, the less I'd earn — and it makes your costs unpredictable. A fixed price means we agree on what 'done' looks like before any money moves.
I have an idea but no technical spec. Can you still help?
That's what the audit is for. Most people come to me with a problem, not a blueprint — the audit turns 'this takes forever every week' into a concrete, prioritized plan.
You're one person — can you really handle my project?
Yes. I'm a full-stack engineer who builds across AI, automation, and web apps, and everything I ship is backed by real test suites and CI gates. You work directly with me — no telephone game between a project manager and a developer overseas.
What if I already have a codebase?
No problem. I'll get up to speed and extend what you have rather than rewriting from scratch. About half the work I'm looking to do is building on existing code.
What's your tech stack?
Python and TypeScript are my core. React/Next.js on the frontend, FastAPI/Node on the backend, PostgreSQL for data, AWS/Docker for infrastructure, and LLM APIs where they genuinely help.
Why are your prices so reasonable?
I'm building my client portfolio. You're getting senior-level engineering at founding-client rates. As I build a track record, prices go up — early clients lock in current rates.
