Built science and history curriculum for grades 4-8. Coached a girls basketball team. Ran a robotics club using LEGO NXT robots and the ROBOTC programming language — my first taste of writing code that does something real. Managing a classroom taught me more about leadership and adapting on the fly than any management course could.
Regulatory Affairs
Developed regulatory strategies for chemical products, prepared federal and state licensing applications, and reviewed labeling for accuracy and compliance. This gave me an eye for detail and process thinking that carries into every system I build today.

The career change sounds random until you realize every job I've had is the same thing: take a complex system, figure out what it actually needs, and build a program that gets results. The discipline transferred — I just swapped barbells for databases.
